Jackeline is 27 and grew up as an orphan from the age of nine. All around her alcohol was rife in the community, and she herself learnt to brew alcohol when she was just a young and vulnerable girl so that she could pay for her own school fees. Today, in her local parenting workshop, she learns about the spiritual, cognitive, physical and socio-emotional needs of her own children and her role in providing for them and supporting them.
This Mothering Sunday, you can give parents in Uganda the gift of safety and a brighter future for their children.
“My dream for my children is to have a brighter future. They should be educated, fed well, grow in love and know God.” – Jackeline
Your gift of £40 could enable a woman to attend a series of parenting classes in Uganda, so her children can have a brighter future
